I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapist and art therapist with private practices in Chiswick and Islington in London, and online.
I offer integrative psychotherapy, art therapy and solutions-focused therapy, according to your needs, concerns and interests.
I work with a wide range of clients who feel they would like to improve their lives in some way. I have clinical experience on issues ranging from common life challenges to trauma and mental health diagnoses.
Integrative psychotherapy considers the full range of your mental, emotional, and physical needs. It draws on techniques and principles from various therapeutic approaches, tailoring them to meet your unique circumstances. This approach emphasizes collaboration between client and therapist, ensuring the work is guided by your specific goals and priorities.
Integrative psychotherapy is a person-centred approach with a strong evidence-base. It draws from both classical psychodynamic theory around early family relationships and “here-and-now” humanistic approaches, which concern themselves more with strategies and what needs to change in the present day. Integrative psychotherapists are therefore able to tailor their approach to a client’s priorities. Working integratively allows us to choose, for example, whether it would be more useful for you to look to the past or focus on the here-and-now so as to develop skills and strategies to move things forward. A key aspect of therapy is identifying our habits and how they may be impacting our lives in positive or negative ways.

I have wide experience working with a range of issues, from common life issues, through depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse and experiences of psychosis and unstable mood.
I have a particular interest in early parental relationships as well as issues around language of origin, identity, nationality, culture and geographical setting. This includes feelings of difference or alienation within one’s peer group, friendship circle or family, as well as the perhaps unacknowledged strengths which underlie these differences. Seeking a better understanding of one’s own patterns and relationships with both ourselves and with others is often a driver for change in therapy.
Alongside my private practice, I work as a psychotherapist and art psychotherapist in the NHS and for charities, working one-to-one and in groups. I also clinically supervise trainee art psychotherapists as they work towards qualification.
I speak German and English. Aligned to my work as a psychotherapist, I also rehabilitate rescue dogs and have run dogs-as-therapy group workshops.
